Park City Canyons is a management company that manages and rents high end property on behalf of the owners in the popular mountain town of Park City in Utah.
Park City Canyons Lodging was in need of a new website and booking software for their business after learning their current system would signifigantly increasing in price and a new website from the same company would even more. I was tasked with building a new site that would integrate with their new booking software seamlessly.
The site is built on the Divi theme and WordPress which makes options for software integration almost endless. I created a custom video for the homepage banner using simple stock videos that supported their brand identity and business model. The site is now much more manageable for non-technical users and much easier to use for their clients.
I included some cool features to help create a more refined and upscale feel on the site. I included an API that pulls the weather on an hourly basis and writes the data to a file on the backend which is then consumed and displayed on the front end. The footer has a "reveal" feature that reveals the footer as the user scrolls to the bottom of the page. I also included some on hover functionality with pure CSS to place emphasis on elements such as room options.
