KI Liquid Engineering is an established engineering, manufacturing, and logistical firm that specializes in helping business through turnkey solutions for liquid engineering.
KI was frusterated with their oringinal website being difficult to navigate, having lots of redundant content, and generally being difficult to maintain for non-technical team members.
After auditing the site and taking design notes from reference sites, I created a unique website that retained some design elements from the original website and vastly improved the organization of content. Efforts were made to create a "flowing" expereince given the literal liquid nature of their business by using a primarily blue color theme and images that invoke a sense of flow.
I leveraged the Intersectional Observer API for a cool scrolling effect on the "industries" sections of the website. The site is built on WordPress which allowed me to utilize Custom Post Types for products and CPT Taxonomy which enabled non-technical team members to easily manage inventory. In addition I created a custom Divi module that automatically pulls and displays the products based what taxonomy they have been assigned.
