Big Al’s
editWhile working at Gravitate, I managed the maintenance and ongoing development of the Big Al’s website, which was built on WordPress using a custom theme with Bootstrap as the underlying framework.
I addressed user interface concerns, assisted in design elements to enhance functionality and user experience.
The codebase was managed via GitHub for collaborative development and version control.
A significant featured I contributed to was a geolocation feature that directed users to the closest Big Al’s location based on where they were visiting from ultimately making it easier for customers to find nearby locations.
In addition to hands-on development, I participated in and led meetings with the client and their marketing team, collaborating with Gravitate’s design, development, and SEO teams to strategize and implement new designs that aligned with campaign goals.
This collaborative approach, which I gained valuable experience in while working at Gravitate, ensured that all aspects of the website – from aesthetics and functionality to performance and search optimization – were effectively integrated to support Big Al’s marketing initiatives.
